Eight Values of Free Expression

After reading the eight values of Free Expression, I feel as if Individual Self-Fulfillment resonates with me the most. I believe Individual Self-Fulfillment resonates with me the most because I am a big believer upon expressing one self. In my life, I love to express myself with conversation, laughter, jokes, and fashion. I own a clothing brand myself so I usually pay attention to fashion more closely and ask myself, "What do I like from this piece and how can I gather an idea from this piece and use my own identity on my clothing piece to perfect my creations?".  My mission as a clothing brand owner is to help people locate their identity in who they are through the fashion that I create. With meaningful pieces, I believe that is possible and can portray smiles across people's faces when wearing Bl4nk Canvas.  As a creator in fashion myself, I find myself having to think outside of the box to keep up with trends and create unique pieces. I love seeing our community come together and create different creations. I use this time to see the beauty in life itself.  Society is able to accomplish anything we put out mines to when we are one as a whole. The beauty of the value of Free Expression in Individual Self-Fulfillment allows us to develop and experiment new things and lead to growth.

The value of Free Expression that seems most important is Participation in Self-Government.  Participation in Self-Government is important because as the people, we need access to all the information we can get to make good decisions when voting. Voting alters lives and choosing who we want to govern our country matters. As a country, having a leader who does not know how to properly lead can lead to economic problems to where we are losing resources that were allocated to us, and more problems such as injustice in the country. As voters with knowledge, change in our country will happen for the betterment of the United States. I see Participation in Self-Government all the time as people advocate how important it is to vote. You usually would see people advocate on social media to bring awareness and reach as many people as possible to hear their message. But, you will also see people in real life with signs especially around voting season. Everywhere you look, there is a sign up to vote for somebody and their position that they are intending on working in.

TikTok - Make Your Day    In my life, I heavily rely on social media. Everyday, I see people using the value of Free Expression in Individual Self-Fulfillment when scrolling on TikTok. As I scroll, I see people expressing themselves and displaying their identity to the world expressing who they are as people. Some people choose to dance to express their joyful character in the world. Some choose to express their identity through sport and post their highlights online from game film to working out to express how passionate they are about the sport of the game. Others may use social media to gain reach to promote their business and express their identity as a figure in business. So, the theory of Individual Self-Fulfillment can help explain a life story in the real world by displaying different expression through humans in everyday life simply by off what we post.
